DAY 1: Draw your own staff. Make four measures with bar lines. Don't forget a double bar line at the end! Put quarter notes and rests on the staff. Now you can play your own song! What did you use for an instrument? Now practice singing our songs for the concert: When the Holidays Come (Ring the bells and play the drum...), The Chipmunk Song (Christmas, Christmas time is near...), If I Were a Reindeer (where would I be...) DAY 2 Since you invented your own instrument on DAY 1, you can start practicing our new staff on the back of the blue sheet. When you finish practicing, you may sing our songs for the concert without looking at the words! Good luck! DAY 3 When we sang 'In the Sea' you may remember the picture of the bottom of the ocean was so dark it was hard to know what was down there. I'd like you to draw your own picture of the bottom of the sea! Remember the lyrics: Diving to a watery trip - that can be a dangerous dip - restless waves above you - ocean floor below you - searching through a shadowy world-
